Estriol cream 1.0mg-15g is a topical short-term hormone replacement therapy (HRT) used to treat atrophic vaginitis, a vaginal symptom of the menopause. Estriol cream is prescribed for the treatment of estrogen deficiency symptoms. This cream helps restore the natural balance of estrogen in the body, and thus relieves the vaginal symptoms that occur after menopause.
Estriol cream is also used to treat vaginal tissues before and after vaginal surgery (vaginal prolapse) in the postmenopausal women. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
What is the recommended dosage of Estriol?
The dosage of Estriol prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.
